I was very excited about this product, it's a great concept, but it doesn't work as advertised and it let me down. After inserting the needle into the wine and pouring a glass or two, the instructions are to pull the needle out, the cork will reseal itself, and you are to store the wine in a horizontal position. The problem is that after extracting the needle, the cork never reseals itself, so storing sideways is not possible without the wine seeping out quickly. Also, the hole lets oxygen into the bottle and ruins the wine after a day or two defeating the whole purpose of this product. We have tried this on different kinds of corks and had to store the bottle vertically for a couple days, so the wine doesn't leak out. Even after a few days, the cork never reseals itself. All of this renders this product useless and relying on this results in ruined wine every time, so on top of a useless Christmas present for my fiance this also resulted in us losing a few bottles of wine due to them spoiling.
