These measuring cups are rough metric approximations of US measurements. For instance, the 1 cup is printed on the cup as being 1 cup and 250 ml. The problem is that 1 cup is 236 ml, not 250. If you check the measurement, it is much larger than 1 actual US cup, so the metric measurement is the actual size, not the US measurement. All of the measuring cups and spoons have this problem. You cannot get correct measurements for your recipes using these measuring cups.
