Sonicare used to make a toothbrush that would last. I am on my 3rd in the past 3 years. The first died after a year and a half, the second died in 9 months and Philips replaced it under warranty. This one has lasted just over a year, but Philips will only warranty the toothbrush from the date the original was bought. They won't even warranty the replacement. Absolutely love the toothbrush, but won't ever spend the money for a sonicare again until they can make a product that lasts and they will stand behind.
