I'm writing this on my wife's account - she ordered this for me since I'm the tea drinker in the house. I love tea. I drink nothing but iced tea, morning, noon and night (yes, I'm strange). Most of the time, I brew about a gallon of tea a day. I'm not a "tea snob" and I like many different types, brands, etc. For black tea, Lipton has been one of my favorites for well over 30 years. When I saw they had this "Iced Sweet Tea", I actually got really excited. Some days, I don't have the time to brew a pitcher so I was looking forward to being able to make a glass at a time for those occasions when that happened. I also DETEST stevia. It has an absolutely horrible taste (to me). I made a point of reading the entire listing to see if there was any mention of stevia - there wasn't. The listing said that it's made "from young tea leaves and cane sugar". I even went directly to the Lipton website before ordering it to see if there was any mention of it there - but there wasn't. They repeated the same line about using cane sugar - no mention of stevia. I happily ordered it, stupidly expecting exactly what it said in the product listing. When it came in, I opened the box and made a glass, expecting the simple flavor of tea and sugar. NOT what I got. It had a HORRIBLE flavor and the aftertaste was even worse. I immediately looked at the box (which I SHOULD have done before opening it) and saw that stevia WAS listed on the box. I find it incredibly misleading that they don't mention this in their listing, either here OR on their own website. For those that WANT stevia, they should be aware of it so they CAN order it and for those of us that can't stand the stuff, we should know so that we DON'T order it. As I said, I truly enjoy the taste of Lipton tea, but this is a HUGE FAIL on their part. It's truly a case of false advertising!!
