★☆☆☆☆
not effective
I've been a massage therapist for 10 years and am always looking for self-care products that will help me manage my own tension throughout my work week. I found the Craniocradle to be too soft and too large for my 5'4" frame. It didn't provide any traction to my neck like I'd hoped it might. It caved in (it's kind of squishy) so it didn't provide enough pressure to relieve any tension at the base of my skull and the "nubs" were spaced too far apart to hit the right points. I tried placing it every which way but it just didn't work in any capacity for me. So far, no product has been as effective as just putting two tennis balls in a sock for neck relief and trigger point therapy along my spine and shoulders. I'm going to stick with that from now on. Note: I do prefer to receive deeper massage for pain relief so perhaps this is better suited to someone that wants light pressure.
