Yes, that's the old owner's email address still linked to and locking the laptop. I even tried to unlock it with my own existing Apple ID. That didn't work. I asked for a replacement and then decided to just buy a new one. Now I have wait 2-3 weeks for my refund despite returning to a physical location the next day. I am not happy and can not recommend buying a "renewed" device from Amazon. This must be my worst experience with an Amazon purchase. UPDATE: After waiting 2-3 weeks for my refund which never came, I contacted Amazon and was instantly issued my refund. I asked why it took so long to not receive a refund when it was easily issued once I contacted Amazon. They basically said that sometimes refunds get overlooked. How? Everything is computerized and automated.
