Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Right now it gets 1 star because of how soft it felt when I took it out of the package. I received it today and immediately washed it then threw it in the dryer on low heat. I expected there to be some lint, and there was. But in the dryer there was more lint, and on the blanket there were lint balls that had collected while in the dryer. I figured I'd tumble it on no heat to get rid of the last. Guess what? Tons more. Did it again. Tons more. Literally handfuls inside the lint catch AND inside the dryer that built up in balls and couldn't make it in the catch. This thing sheds worse than a long haired cat in the spring. After the 3rd cycle, I took the blanket out, shook it and more fell out and another handful from the catch. I guess I'll keep tumbling it to see if it ever stops. At this point either A) it will finally stop shedding and be usable, or B) it will disintegrate. So far B is winning due to how much has come off so far, and I'm only doing 20 minute cycles. If it finally stops and is usable, I'll post an update, however as of right now it's just a messy pain and a huge annoyance to have to repeatedly do this. UPDATE: [...] Here's a picture after 2 washing and hours in the dryer, and it's not all either, just all I could collect. That's my size 10 shoe next to it, and it STILL is shedding. I've probably spent more in electricity than I paid for the blanket trying to get it usable. I've pretty much given up and if I ever use it will have to trail a vacuum wherever I go with it. Even now when I hold it against myself just carrying it, I'm covered in pieces of blue lint. I washed it a third time because why not? Still get about the same amount every time I wash it or put it in the dryer, but I'm done repeating this process.
