Is one piece of paper too much to ask?
Yes, this is an amazing visual product and well worth what I payed. You don't need me to tell you how good it is, there are already plenty of reviews explaining the value of the LG OLED55CXPUA. I would rather address one of the issues found in other reviews, the missing parts. The TV is well packaged, however the packaging is hiding some of the parts. Packing straps hold the inner and outer part of the box together. Once the straps are removed the outer sleeve can be pulled up leaving the inner packaging and TV on the floor. If you look inside the outer sleeve, if it stayed inside, is a large pre-molded piece of foam. At first glance it would be easy to assume that's all it is and discard the outer sleeve as nothing more than packaging. This is one reason for the missing parts. The stand is packaged on the other side of that piece of foam. The stand is completely concealed without any indication it is there. I found it before I started assembly because I was curious if anything else was in the box. The other issue I read was about missing screws. When I started assembly I thought I was missing the screws like in other reviews. I went through all the pieces of packaging thinking they must be hiding like the stand was but I did not find them. Long story short, the screws are packaged in a white plastic bag that looks a lot like a silica gel desiccant pack. I even felt the bag the first time I picked it up and still thought it was a de-moisturizing gel pack. It's a shame that LG decided excluding instructions was the one place they were going to cut corners in making this TV. UPDATE: This T.V. is not true HDMI 2.1 compatible. The HDMI 2.1 standard is 12 bit and 48gbps bandwidth. LG has downgraded this T.V. to 10bit and 40Gbps bandwidth making it incompatible with true HDMI 2.1 products. Currently this effects NVIDIA's 30XX series of GPUs. Stating that this T.V. is HDMI 2.1 compatible is false advertising. For those who do not understand that it is inconsequential what is or is not available or what is practical, the manufacturer stated this tv is full HDMI 2.1 compatible and it is not. Does it have a 2.1 input? Answer: All four of the HDMI inputs on the LG CX 55 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55CXPUA are full spec HDMI 2.1 ports and they are all HDCP 2.2 compliant. HDMI IN 2/eARC supports HDMI eARC functionality...^IFV By Ivan V. Manufacturer on March 17, 2020 Also, this TV is not a G-Sync device, it is a G-Sync compatible device.
