The headline says it all. After three months if light use, it won't power on. I checked the fuse in the plug and that's not the problem. The sad thing is I have an almost identical Bionaire unit that I got a few years ago that's still working well, which is why I got this new one when I needed an additional fan. I'm planning on contacting the company for a replacement. If they replace it with an identical working unit at no cost to me, I'll update the review. This might be a 5 star fan if it didn't stop working. Here's how I'd review it if it didn't quit on me: Overall impression: This is a very good fan. Either 4 or 5 stars, depending on whether the cons listed below matter to you. Pros: - Sturdy construction, doesn't feel cheap. - Doesn't shake or vibrate (which happens on poorly constructed fans when the rotors are a little off center). - Moves a lot more air than similar fans I've tried from two other brands. Cons: - The beeps it makes whenever you press a button are too loud. - The thermostat has no variance, so the moment the temperature varies by 1 degree it turns on or off again. This leads to frequent starts and stops, making the thermostat feature pretty annoying if you use it in a bedroom.
