I purchased this balance board in July, and use it intermittently 3 days a week when I work from home at my standing desk. By November, the foam footrest had started detaching from the plastic base, and the foam had also developed two rips where my heel punctures the foot rest. When I contacted Gaiam Customer Support about the issue, they responded "I haven't seen that happen with this product, I'll definitely share your pictures with our product team." And then "Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a manufacturing defect and we're outside of our 90 day [warranty] policy". While it lasted, the board worked exactly as I expected. However, I wouldn't recommend this board to anyone, as it didn't last more than 120 days, and Gaiam doesn't consider that to be an unusual level of wear.
