O.K., most people are not too swift so here is the real deal with this double pronged club. The idea of a double hook which would require a would-be thief to have to cut the steering wheel twice is basically a good idea. However, here is the rub. Most if not all steering wheels do not have the the center cross member mounted in the middle of the wheel, but rather leave a larger space at the top as an opening to see the dash gauges. This means that the diameter at the point of contact for the upper hook would be wider than the lower. So the upper hook does not mount properly because the lower hook butts up against the wheel frame at a point of lesser diameter than the upper. I am No engineer, but I recognize a bad (permit me: idiotic) design when I see one. The CLUB people should be ashamed of themselves for not having designed this properly in the first place. SO...back it goes. If they fix the design to have it fit properly, I would buy one. One last point. it is a shake your head world and the fact that so many people would give this bad design a favorable review makes me question the value of online reviews. Of course you all know that merchants that are reviewed on online review sites (you know their names), can have any negative reviews purged. My wife wrote a very well articulated and legitimate critique of a service she used and it was removed.
