I really wanted to like these. The product has high reviews and I loved the color of the blades! Out of the box, the knives were okay. They were sharp, but the handles felt flimsy and cheap. They cut food fine. The knives claimed to be dishwasher safe, so I did place them on the top rack during normal cycles. Within 2 washes, the blades were already discolored/flaking(?) closest to the knives' edges. Also, weird water marks were left after washing- while I could buff these out with a dry towel, it was an extra step I just wasn't willing to take on these. Overall, I was very disappointed in this knife set and would not recommend it to anyone, even at its price point. I returned it and ordered a similarly-priced knife set from an established kitchenware company. I would encourage you to look elsewhere.
