Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

Not nearly as nice quality as those purchased previously (currently unavailable), but still labeled 'amazon basics'. This review is assuming it works ok once I use it. It's just that the quality & feel of the cable & ends are way below the level of quality previously sold. Two stars means "I don't like it", three stars means "it's ok". I just don't like it, plain and simple. Let me be clear, Amazon did not attempt to deceive anyone with this ad, the cables I received look exactly as they have pictured. My fault, I didn't look at the pic that close, just assumed (yeah, yeah, I know...) they would be like my previously purchased ones. Sour grapes, hence my 2-star rating. I'm sure Amazon would gladly let me return them, but it's not that big of a deal, just had higher expectations based on previous purchase. These cables look & feel cheaper than their price reflects. See pic: cable set on the left is the 'old' style, right side is the 'new'.
