This product is a gimmick. Works perfectly up until your free trial ends, which coincidentally lasts up until the Amazon return window. The night the trial expired the camera's live view refused to work and since then 9/10 times you get the screen down above. No change to Wi-Fi distance or settings, does not work either on computers, cell phones, or iPads. Only change was that we didn't opt to pay the monthly Ring fee for storage of video which I'm fairly certain it does internally. Additionally, there were 0 (zero) false alarms with motion detection during the first month while the free trial was active, when it expired at the 30 day mark we get random motion detection, mostly at night. Probably some ploy to make you feel insecure and buy more ring devices and subscribe so that you can see what set it off since you can't access the live feed. This reminds me of cell phone manufacturers intentionally slowing down phones to get you to buy a new one. Now I have a very expensive doorbell that doesn't do anything else that a $10 at the hardware store couldn't do. In short, don't waste your money. Buy something else, anything else.
