The show looked promising from the first two seasons, evolving from your basic YA plot to a more convoluted storyline with interesting situations and well-written, well-developed characters, to the point that you could turn a blind eye on its little flaws or morderate use of annoying tropes. This season, however, is somehow managing to invalidate anything good this show used to have. The first episodes are okay, but starting from episode 5 it only goes downhill: poor (oh so poor), lazy writing, boring and predictable plot points, shock value deaths, any negative trope regarding minorities that you could possibly think of (dead black man? Check. Villanized black men? Check. Dead lesbian? Check. Well meaning white saviours? Check). Been there, seen that. They lost any originality they had built in the past two seasons, and truly it's a shame. It really looks like The 100 is trying to imitate Game of Thrones, while doing a piss poor job at it and forgetting what audience it's targeting: this show is mainly aimed to teenagers. If they wanted to change that, they should have gone at it from a different way and sure enough not so abruptly I don't know what will become of the show from now on, but they sure lost me as a viewer.
