I have 38 batteries from Dewalt in 20v/60v and we have had 5 of them stop taking charge. Never leave them in freezing temperatures and never leave them overnight on charger. Always well kept and can't figure out why they have gone down on us. Dewalt was great at warrantying these but I was just told to send a 3ah battery off to Salt Lake repair center. Hazmat fee and shipping is nearly the cost of a new 3ah. To top it off the unit was $1000 laser level bought just over a year ago on Amazon but because the date printed on the battery was 2017, they didn't want to warranty the battery. Battery looks brand new because its always in the case. Very disappointed in their customer service and their new batteries. Have had 6ah and 9ah batteries stop working but luckily they warrantied them. I am about to start buying Milwaukee because we actually have a rep in the area that we know backs their products if it is defective. Dewalt quality control better get this figured out, I have spent thousand of dollars each year in their newest products but I am not so willing to waste money with them
