this battery maintainer/charger is suppose to be able to recognize when a battery is fully charged and maintain the battery. I dont know if i got a defective noco genius 1 but mine DID NOT recognize when battery is fully charged and kept charging. I heard boiling water noises within my 12V sealed battery and unplugged it. I tested the battery a day afterwards and it was fully charged while noco had it on red light (below 75%). DO NOT BUY BEFORE YOU DAMAGE YOUR BATTERY OR BURST THE BATTERY. I suggest amazon remove its best seller and amazons choice labels until further investigation of this product to deem its safety.
