Sony has regressed its product line.
I simply wanted to replace my old NWZ-E384 due to many years of great service it has started to reboot itself. Given the rough times, I have put it through I decided just to buy the newest version of the same product.
First, the product is made of cheap plastic, unlike my old one that had a nice metal casing. But most importantly the software is different and does not allow you to play Microsoft playlists or even play by genre. That leaves you with two options if you don't want to play your music one artist at a time. You can download Sonys software, recreate your song lists and download them OR you can play all shuffle.
Gone are the days of turning on your MP3 player, hitting genre, choosing play all and listening to your music. The maddening part is that this was not an issue with the old version. Sony has actually made it harder to use their product.
I smite your new product Sony.
