While the phone holder is solid and well built, it is lacking useful articulation. The arm has only one hinge joint - that means that it is impossible to angle the upper arm towards you, and still be able to see the screen. This is problematic if your cup-holders are near the dash, like mine. If I angle the upper arm away from the dash, the screen either faces downwards or away from me, which is totally useless. I cannot angle it away from me, because it hits the dash. Thus I have to keep it completely straight up, which kind of defeats the purpose of having joints. :( The inclusion of a hinge joint up by the phone would have made this a great holder. As it is now, it is useless. Will be finding something else to use.
