Don't waste you money.
It came in an Apple Box, is Marked as Apple, and appears to be a genuine Apple product but it is junk.
The lightning plug is ill fitting and doesn't make a solid connection to any of the 4 iPhones in the household. I even tried it with all four out of their cases and the connection is still bad. The lightning male seems too short.
I tried it on 3 different iPhone 6S's and an iPhone 7 and all had the same problem.
