Printer would not install. I asked for help and guy came on asked for permission to access my computer, spent a few minutes and said I need a more advanced tech to help. So a new guy came on and it would be $99, to delete failed/error messages!!!!.. Thanks HP...if I can t insta!l I'll return it. These guys sounded like the Irs crooks or computer hacks. Update: I went ahead and deleted ALL the files which were installec, including the access file which allowed the techs(?) Access my puter. After deleting them, I ran a few virus programs and it was clean. Rebooted , went to the HP site for the 5055 and d/l all files needed for install. Ran them all and installed in 2 minutes, have both USB and WIFI options to run. Printed a few pics at best color settings and perfect color,contrast etc...and one text file with letters and numbers..again PERFECT. Great printer for our needs. Just dont bother with the online support. They told me i could never install it without they deleting some files that were causing the conflect. I didnt touch the files he said was causing the conflict. HP has partnered up with scam techs...gives HP a black eye.
