Hidden Agenda?
The movie was wonderful except that the gay activity was too explicit and heavy-handed. It seemed to be edited into the story line as a highlight rather than as a subtext. More air time was given to the gay agenda in this short movie than in the the entire TV series. Also, the open gay kiss in a public forum at the end was not accurate to the times which still kept gay kisses behind doors in the early 1930s in England. Everything else was done in an excellent, engaging and accurate manner.
