I am very disappointed in this purchase and in New Balance in general. Our whole family has been wearing NB shoes for years. They have always been our go-to brand for good looks meet comfort and durability. But this will be the third pair of NB athletic shoes within the last 8 weeks, that I will be returning due to poor fit and the materials used seem cheap. They used to offer some models that were USA made but now they all seem to be Made in China or Made in USA of imported materials, which is not much better. To start with, the shoes are not long enough from toe to heel. Comparing them against my old NB sneakers (various styles), I can see where they are shorter by almost one inch. Also they are far to narrow to be considered Wide width, my foot doesn't even slide halfway into the shoe. Third, they are shallow from top to bottom, and that is after taking out the removable inserts. Needless to say I will be returning them and will have to start looking around for another go-to brand as the quality of New Balance shoes just isn't the same. If anyone can recommend another reputable brand of sneaker that offers wide widths, comfort and style - please share. It's been so long since we have ordered anything but NB that I don't even know where to start. Thanks in advance.
