Does not last; First Alert does not honor warranty
All of our units started chirping three times and indicating an "error". I called First Alert to use my 7 year warranty and they said the warranty is only 5 years and would do nothing for me. We spent almost $800 on several of these for our home and I am very disappointed in the lifespan and First Alert's poor customer service in not honoring the warranty.
