I researched these headphones extensively and was sure that I'd made the right purchase. I run long distances (10-13 miles) and just wanted a no-nonsense pair of headphones that would stay put no matter what. These were great when I first got them. They fit perfectly in my ears and the sound quality is the best I've had in any pair of headphones. The real problems started when I started to sweat. The rubber in-ear part got extremely slippery. They kept gradually falling out of my ears, and wouldn't stay "wedged" in place. I frequently had to shove them in every 2 minutes or so, which got insanely frustrating and distracting. The sound control strip that sits near the chest didn't bother me until the earbuds got sweaty; at that point it seemed like the weight of it was just pulling the things out like they were covered in butter. Around mile 4 or 5, I just gave up and pulled them out all together. I'm very disappointed. Such a great pair of headphones that just don't perform past a certain point. These work great for light exercise and everyday use, but not for activities that involve impact or intense sweating.
