Bed bug warning!!!!!! DO NOT purchase anything from this company! We purchased this lovely fabric headboard and placed it into my bedroom and within 24 hours I started being bit with painful bed bug bites! (Just so you know nothing else was brought into our home during this time, and we have never had anything else like this happen to us before). Apparently bedbugs can live in upholstered fabric for a year without needing to feed. Gross. They spread quickly and can multiply at frightening rates. Now I am continuing to be bit by these critters. So the battle begins to get rid of these bugs. We have read extensively now on bedbugs and scientific research has shown that natural treatments are not effective - which would have been our chosen method to get rid of these bugs. It appears that it can cost us well over a $1000+ to get rid of these terrible pests. UPDATE: My husband found a manufacture’s CARE instruction for this headboard that literally stated “to spray the headboard every two weeks with a mixture of alcohol and insect killer to kill the bugs in the headboard“. SO this manufacture is knowingly shipping these headboards around the United States fully aware that they are infested with bedbugs! We found this shocking, unbelievable, and unacceptable. Also who in their right mind would want to spray their headboard for their bed where your pillow and face will be with insecticide??? Our battle with these aggressive pests is still not over. ☹️ The costs continue to mount. My hope is that Amazon will stop carrying this vendors products immediately so Amazon, their staff and their customers will not be exposed to such an aggressive and VERY contagious pest. Please beware my fellow Amazon shoppers. CONTACT Amazon AN DEMAND THAT AMAZON STOPS CARRYING THIS MANUFACTURERS PRODUCTS.
