Nearly 5 starts for product design, concept, and execution. 1 star overall for quality issues and Tfal company customer service. This product is pretty sweet - great design, concept, and execution. Keeps deep frying as clean as possible with the oil filtration system and modular design. Materials are fairly cheap, but for the price, cant complain. we had issues with oily/greasy food, even when cranked up to the highest setting - meaning low oil temp. After checking the oil temp with other calibrated instruments - we found that the oil temp was nearly 40degrees off from what the dial said. Amazon sent another unit, but we had the same issue. Then we reached out to the T-Fal - where they just said to send it in at our cost to one of their centers where they would evaluate it for warranty service (would be charged if it was deemed out of warranty) - turnaround time was expected to be 3 weeks from time of receipt. Easier to just return it and find a different unit and company to deal with. Last time I'm dealing with T-Fal and their quality issues and customer service.
