Amazon is getting every but as greedy as the worst hollywood mogul
This movie was released to DVD and Blu Ray on the 12th of Feb. Amazon still doesn't offer it on physical media. I had to go to Best Buy to purchase it. If I'm going to own a movie, I want to OWN it. I want to have it in my house physically. I want to be able to lend it to friends, and If I ever grow tired of it, I want to be able to sell it or give it to someone. You can't do any of this with digital versions of a movie. I am not an old out of date curmudgeon, I am quite digital in most aspects of my life, but this new trend by entertainment companies (that's what you have become Amazon) to impose a new definition of ownership onto consumers really runs counter to my principles. The movie is great by the way, which is why I now OWN it and have it sitting on a shelf with over 2000 other titles that I consider worth the investment. I hope this is not an indicator of things to come with Amazon.
