No Privacy with Microsoft's New Policy for Windows 10
Before you upgrade to Windows 10 or purchase, you should be aware of the changes to Microsoft's privacy policy.
Microsoft's new privacy policy for Windows 10:
We will access, disclose and preserve personal data, including your
content (such as the content of your emails, other private
communications or files in private folders), when we have a good faith
belief that doing so is necessary to protect our customers or enforce
the terms governing the use of the services.
It seems there is no choice in this matter, by nature of accepting their
terms you are essentially agreeing that they have access to all your
personal content, documents and files. This is my personal opinion, but somehow that doesn't seem right.
Since Windows 10 has been released it has become clear the lengths
Microsoft takes to collect personal data from its customer base, in
addition to taking advantage of their customers by building their data
collection methods into their software and software setup process by not allowing the option to turn off some data collection features.
This policy is invasive and well beyond the boundaries for collecting
personal data.
