Lead in brass/copper fitting on base piece.
I took the product out of the box and used a lead testing kit on all the pieces. Everything was good until I tested the brass fitting which came back positive for lead. I would reconsider buying this butter maker and go for the more expensive ones on amazon which hopefully do not contain any lead. I will be returning this product.
