I took out my entire glowing review. Two weeks out of warranty. One including shipping time. The door seal is leaking at the bottom. My floor in front of the washer informed me of this. Actually I noticed water on the side of the washer about a month ago but figured I spilled something. I should have called right then and there because I called today to ask for a warranty exception and was denied. By the overseas customer service AND the customer service in Huntsville Alabama. A leaking door seal after one year of operation in a two person household is not acceptable in my opinion. so I am moving my buy to a do not buy. First, LG won't fix something that is an obvious design problem in the material creating the door seal and then they flat out deny an exception. I'm not asking for an electronic part. I understand those fail quite frequently but I didn't expect something so easy to repair to be denied, two weeks out of warranty. The washer action is ok. It is putting holes in our tshirts which is strange. The drying takes forever. If you can buy separate pieces then do that but I wouldn't recommend LG. I wish I'd believed that guy that posted pictures of his wet floor caused by his LG washer and it's door seal.
