Somewhat of a gimmick (does what is says but not really what I thought it would)
I'm a gadget lover so I bought this on a whim. After trying to use it I feel like its an infomercial gimmick (does what is says but not really what you thought it would). I tried to use it while building a deck and took it off after about 5 minutes. I found it cumbersome to wear and it only holds a couple screws. The material itself is thick and the wristband feels wide. As bulky as this thing is it should hold more screws. Even though the picture shows 5 screws, I assumed the entire band was magnetized and it would hold a lot more. This sounds foolish now but I expected to just stick my hand into a bucket of screws and the screws to attach themselves. In reality you have to pick up each screw and arrange them on the wristband ensuring the entire screw is on the magnet so they don't fall off. All of this takes time. Looking back I understand they had to find a balance between too much grip and just enough. After all you need to be able to pull the screws off easily, but I can hold a couple screws in my hand and don't need to spend the time arranging them on my wrist. My advise would be to get a tool belt with a nail pouch if you need to hold multiple screws. I won't be buying anymore Magnogrip stuff. This was a good idea just not a useful idea.
