Cheap mounting bracket plate is garbage. The first one I tried installing snapped like a piece of cheap glass. This is not any type of metal that should be used for this application. Look inside the broken piece and its porous, filled with air bubbles like sourdough bread. Who says "yea, lets save 4 cents on the mounting brackets by using garbage metal that's weaker than paper mache?" Umbra does. Luckily it came with a mid bracket with another plate, but now I cant use the mid-bracket. I regret buying it, and at this quality it should only be priced at $9.99, not $40..
