Listen - before you start on this series you need to know that protagonist makes it in the end and ends up with her prince Charming, but this is not a true romance in that sense of the word.... WARNING! there is some kidnapping, torture, medical torture, amputation etc. it is a very, VERY, V-E-R-Y dark book and if you're ok with that then you might enjoy this story. Otherwise, you really need to avoid this series at ALL COST!!! I'm so unbelievably sorry that I've read this story and now have these images in my brain - thank goodness didn't touch the 2nd book!!!! Again, DON'T BUY THIS BOOK IF YOU DON'T LIKE READING ABOUT HORRIFIC TORTURE BEING CARRIED OUT OR DISCUSSED IN DETAIL!!!!!!
