I can't believe that this would happen. Pocket edition on the Fire TV is capped at 0.16.2 so you're forced to update to this edition to get the latest version. You also lose all of your IAPs that you may have bought on pocket edition when you do. Very clunky and poorly handled transition. They're going the route of asking for forgiveness instead of giving us a choice. Well, I GUESS you do get a choice. You can be stuck on 0.16.2 or upgrade. At least I didn't have to pay full price for this app, as it showed up in my cloud on my Fire TV. I won't be buggered to buy anything on this version though; it'll probably get deleted once they change something on the backend again.
