I originally purchased a 5-in-1 Weather Station and Weather Sensor in August, 2015. The Weather Sensor worked fine for awhile. However, just 15 months later the temperature sensor on the Weather Sensor failed. Because it could not be replaced, I had to buy another complete Weather Sensor.. The temperature gauge in the second one failed just over a year later and the wind direction “rudder” froze and can’t be fixed. I do live on the coast but Acurite said “no problem”. Their Weather Sensors are inferior as far as I have experienced. I’m going with Davis Instruments or Ambient Weather products hereafter. Way better quality but worth the price.
