Love/Hate Relationship
I really thought I found the perfect canopy to travel with and use. My intention was to have two and use them on weekends. Didn't matter that I was always hitting my head on the frame because of the short height.
LOVE: What a neat idea! So compact and lightweight. So easy to set up and store. I even made custom wall panels.
HATE: Over a 6 month period I purchased and returned no less than 6 of these (probably more). Because the legs telescope so much to create the really compact size, some slide too easily and come out completely or get stuck so tightly inside that it is impossible to pull the next segment out. Unfortunately, the legs are so delicate and knowing that, I was very careful with them. I would not even let anyone else help me with the set-up because it was such a delicate operation. The last straw was on a really hot hot day, I set up my canopy and one of the legs came out again. I propped up the canopy leg so I could at least have some shade until I could get home and fix the leg. When I was packing up and tried to fold it I noticed the frame was bent so badly it could not be straightened enough to fold into it's bag. I decided this was the last one I was going to deal with. I returned the canopy, spent $30 more and purchased something else a little bigger and alot sturdier. I really tried to make this little canopy work because I liked the idea so much. I have one left and hesitate to use it. I recommend that you spend a little more for something that will not fail you as miserably as this one has me.
