I've been wearing Unionbay's Men's Cordova cargo shorts for years now, and have worn out quite a few pair. Sadly however, Unionbay has seen fit to produce a cheaper made variant of this once phenom of a cargo short. What's different from the originals? To start with, the leg ties are no longer functional. Where you could once pull them tight, and tie off the leg opening, now they're nothing more than non-functional window dressing. Merely two three inch long pieces of fabric made to look as though the leg openings could be tied. The cargo pockets are no longer riveted in the corners, and the velcro used on all of the pockets is much thinner, smaller in size, and weaker at keeping your pockets closed when actually using them. It's a sad day for me, for as I said, I've worn this brand and style for years.
