I like this concept but have some feedback, based on just my first few minutes of checking it out. Background on me: college educated mom of 3. 10 y/o and 9 y/o who read big books voraciously. 7 y/o who is having trouble learning to read. The font of the story in the sample story is HORRIBLE for anyone to read, especially anyone like a little kid who is still learning letters and blends and sight words! The first story I picked to read, "We're Getting a Puppy!" also has a strange font. A font used for little kids to help them learn to read needs to have letters that look like normal letters, not fancy, squiggly g's and j's. There's even a font that's specially made for people with dyslexia that might be PERFECT for an app that is aimed at developing readers. I will be cancelling the subscription until fonts are either able to be changed or all changed to something more readable. The font on Lost Cat is not too bad, but they should all be simple fonts.
