Too unreal
I must say haven't finished yet, and not sure I will, but looked at other reviews to see if anyone else thought it was so slow it dragged. Rather unbelievable to me that a supposedly mature, 37 year old woman just leaves her business for months on end, doesn't seem to care about her live in boy friend of 3 years, is upset because her mother had another boyfriend years and years ago,, before she even met her future husband. The older woman hadn't cared enough about her family in Ireland to visit in 50 years but her husband dies and she is off to find the old boyfriend. It is just so contrived as to be not possible. And also, have to throw in a gay cousin to stay current.
