Welp, thought I'd try my luck and ignore the comments...a few times it worked out for me..lol..welp not this time lol....then I read more comments when I came to write my review while its being returned (its outside waiting right now to lol), one comment in the Ask Questions section said we had to download the fire tv ap; something an amazon tech had me do to remotely troubleshoot on their end, when my original stopped working...b4 buying this knock off...Soooo had the instructions, that this company was so happy to provide said to download the ap, (while being connected to wifi only btw) and follow the prompts once selecting the name of this remote when it appears in the devices list or whatever....ok..sooo...good grief! Maybe it worked..maybe it didn't...lol.. but who the heck wants to add yet another ap to their (already full) android phone that you wont use after the remote is paired, and to top it off u can only use the ap in wifi mode, as this is how I have to control my tv untill the original remotes are back in stock on 2.21.21 for 39$ at that!(10$ more gets u a new full firestx4k smgdh....*Siiiiiiigh* Amazon ya'll starting to disappoint me as much as this knock-off remote replacement did. :(
