Great idea, poor execution. If you are better than 20/40, don't even consider them.
Ok, there are bad reviews and good reviews. Mine is bad.
Waste of money except for the incredibly near sighted.
I am slightly near sighted and literally at last 1/20 turn of the adjustment.
If I work real hard, I can get the sight in my right eye (the worse one) marginally sharper.
And I mean barely perceptible.
On the other eye, the best these glasses can do is slightly worse than without them. Sad
Now, the even worse stuff... worse than they don't work. At least for the better than 20/40 crowd.
They are incredibly cheaply made. There are no stops on the end of travel, go too far, the knob stops working and the glasses are free to move freely. You have to push the lens back into position and try to re-engage the gear. Oh, pushing the lens. The slop in the gears are so much that just holding the glasses vertically knocks them out of whatever focus you did have. For heavens sake, don't touch them or worse remove them as they completely change focus. And don't try to use if you have lights behind or beside you, the light just bounces around between the lens in multiple reflections.
Potentially a good idea, needs much better execution of design and manufacture.
