When I first received this soldering iron, I was very happy, it got very hot and maintained temperature well. Also, it came with a good stand, station, and tip cleaner, which was a nice addition. However, after three months of ownership, BOTH of the soldering irons I ordered stopped reaching their original temperature. I know this because we solder a lot of high-current bullet connectors, which require a lot of heat; the new soldering iron had no problem reaching the temperatures required to solder the connectors; however, after three months, the soldering iron no longer gets hot enough to successfully wet the solder cups. I cleaned and swapped the tips to no avail. Obviously, I am maxing out the temperature scale If you're soldering signal wires and small hobby stuff, you will probably not notice the loss in heat; however, these soldering irons are rated at 75W, and I expect to be able to get that amount of heating power over the expected life of the soldering iron. I tried warrantying both of the soldering irons, but the company is very unresponsive.
