I bought this cordless vacuum in Prime Day for $179. My wife used a friend's Dyson V7 and would like to buy that one. However, I convinced her to try this one and she likes it. She thinks that this one is very similar to V7 but with better handling (e.g., this one has a locking switch so that you don't have to constantly hold down the trigger like V7) . We wish that the suction power could be stronger in the normal mode (last about 20 min). The suction power is very good in the Max mode but the battery lasts only 6 minutes. Therefore, another battery ($85) is strongly recommended. Even with the addition battery, the total price is lower than Dyson V7 and much lower then Dyson V8. Other minor issues of this vacuum are: the noise level is pretty high (you cannot watch TV comfortably while using this vacuum); some of the releasing switch feels flimsy and seems easily breakable. That is why I gave it four stars instead of 5 stars.
