I have very sensitive, acne and clog prone skin. I also use a chemical exfoliant (Cosrx BHA liquid) and I wanted something that would soothe my skin. I bought this hoping for a more hydrating/lighter alternative to the benton steam cream, which is my normal night cream. I also wanted an affordable cream with ceramides and without silicones. I used a bunch of snail gels and creams, but this one has a very unique texture. It has a lot of "slip" to it. It has sort of a gel-cream texture, it's very light feeling on the skin. It has no scent, and all I need for my entire face and neck is about a dime size. If my skin is feeling particularity dry or sensitive, I allow the cream to sink in (about 10 seconds) and then apply another layer on top. I found it to be just as moisturizing as the benton steam cream, but without the heavy feeling. It also dries down to a semi matte finish, and doesn't leave me looking shiny or oily. When I started using this I noticed my skin had a brighter more even toned look with less redness. Usually when I wake up in the morning my skin feels a little dry and tight, due to my air conditioner. Since using this, I've had much less of that dry, itchy feeling in the morning. I've even applied this to a small patch of eczema, the next day it was much less red and irritated looking. Pros: Doesn't break me out Moisturizes without being too heavy Scentless, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, very soothing Doesn't clog my pores Light enough to use during the day, but moisturizing enough to use at night Works well under makeup, nice semi matte finish A little goes a long way Price is good for the size of jar Cons: If you apply too much, it can sometimes leave small white dried patches of cream on your face Jar is easily breakable (I dropped it after a few months)
