I'm confused by some of the bad reviews here. I got this meter after getting disgusted with the poor performance of the $10 meters that are sold here. I have found this to be extremely reliable. I take care of it meticulously and it has rewarded me with excellent service. I store it in its cap with 4.0 solution. I know that it's well calibrated because whenever I turn it on it says 4.0. After using it I tend to rinse it in distilled water, shake off the excess and wipe with a soft tissue. I then store it once again in its cap with the 4.0 solution. I have been able to compare it with various known solutions and it is right on target. After about a month of use I noticed that it had drifted to 4.2 when stored in the 4.0 solution. I re-calibrated with 4.0 and 7.0 according to their online video. It took about 2 minutes without the need for any annoying little screwdriver etc. It's now perfectly calibrated again. Worth every penny I paid.
