Great set of suitcases, I am very pleased with the quality. When these suitcases arrived I thought them to be a bit lightweight with somewhat of a flimsy feel, but after travelling to Europe and coming back with the big suitcase stuffed to weigh over 50lbs I must say that I am more than pleased with how sturdy it turned out to be. There are scuff marks on it, but the zippers, wheels and handles are in perfect condition, even after dragging it sideways over gravel for a short distance to my doorstep. I have not used them in expanded (unzipped) mode, but I would expect a good experience.
