You know 4-5 other people with whom you would enjoy spending a whole day of gaming. 4. Having two books worth of rules and a lore book all in the same box gets you a little giddy with excitement. Reasons not to buy this game: 1. You think the concept of Space Lions doesn't make much sense and you just want to go back to watching America's Got Talent 2. You think Settlers of Catan is a deep strategy game and you think Carcassone lasts a bit too long. 3. You fail to see that taking a negative attack modifier to gain an advantage in tech researching is absolutely worth it 4. The phrase "40 pages of rules" makes you wrinkle your nose and suggest that maybe the group could just play Cards Against Humanity again.
