I've been putting off this review for a few days because I can't find the words to describe exactly how grateful I am to the stuff. I have a cat with an incredibly severe flea bite allergy. It's so bad that she totally loses her normally long thick luscious fur, and develops these intense spots of raw broken irritated scabs and due to incessant scratching and grooming. My (ex) boyfriend brought home a stray dog a few months ago that caused a never-ending impossible-to-break flea infestation. I've spent hundreds of dollars on exterminators, flea bombs, powder sprays, etc. I have tried every flea treatment, the only thing that seemed to help her was a daily dose of Capstar. UNTIL I FOUND THIS. It took me a few hours to spray this around my two story house, including the basement, with the suggested powder puffer thing. I started off doing one room at a time and confining the pets to a different room, let the powder settle (which only took an hour) and going on to the next one. Being safe and non-toxic, any powder remnants in the air or on the ground did not have any negative effect on myself or the pets. After a few days, my cat's skin was literally 80% better. I vacuumed up the powder, have not seen a single flea since the night I sprayed it. It probably only took 1 or 2 tablespoons of powder for each room, for the entire 2 story + basement house I filled up the puffer thing three times fully. This $20 10lb bag will last me months. And I intend to use this once a week for a very, very long time. Even after I don't see fleas for a long time I will probably still use this because it was so easy, and I had such great results. After the powder settles, you can barely see it on the carpet. It did make my hands super dry by the time I was done applying it through my whole house, but wash your hands and put on hand lotion when you're done and you won't even notice.
