I was scared because of the reviews. I’m not now. Here’s my advice: understand this has mild acidic properties combined with hydro quinones to lighten dark spots so your face may peel. I see the negative pictures here and know that they could have been prevented by common sense so here it is 1) go light. It has acidic properties. It’s better to increase as your skin adjusts than wish you had later 2) it bleaches and it’s an acid so try and put it on after work or at night and if you can’t then apply a zinc based sunblock regularly to protect the sensitive skin 3) omg wash your hands!!!! If a hand peels it’s because it’s been applied to the hand and not washed off. Wash them in water with soap. 4) use a good lotion for extra dry skin on top after it dries. Use one for winter weather like lubriderm or gold bond etc. you don’t apply this around the eyes so you can use your typical eye cream 5) don’t apply this around your eyes!! Or lips or inside your nose etc. 6) I’m going to repeat: go light and increase slowly rather than shock your skin 7) don’t wax your skin until a week after the scheduled off time with the lotion (you’ll want to take a break so your skin doesn’t get resistant to the ingredients) 8) sunblock
